Wild Roots Hauling, LLC DBA Wild Roots Hauling and Junk Removal
Springfield, Oregon
Effective date: August 25, 2026 · Last updated: August 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Wild Roots Hauling, LLC DBA Wild Roots Hauling and Junk Removal (“Wild Roots Hauling,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information. It applies to this website and to the information customers and prospective customers give us when they contact us about junk removal, property cleanouts, brush clearing, stump grinding, and small excavation work in Springfield, Eugene, and Lane County, Oregon.

Please read this policy together with our Terms and Conditions.

The short version: The only thing on this website that collects personal information is the chat window — and only if you use it. There is no account login and no advertising tracker. Everything else we hold about you is what you choose to tell us directly, usually by phone, text, email, or Facebook message, and we use it to quote and complete your job. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information This Website Collects

The chat window

This site displays a chat window operated on our behalf by LeadConnector, a service of HighLevel, Inc. If you open the chat and send us a message, the information you enter is collected and stored by that provider and made available to us. Depending on what the chat asks for and what you choose to share, this typically includes:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • The content of the messages you send, including any job details or address you describe
  • Technical information tied to the session, such as IP address, browser and device type, the page you were on when you opened the chat, and timestamps

The chat widget sets cookies or similar local storage in your browser so it can keep your conversation together across pages and return visits. If you do not open the chat window, you do not send us anything through it.

LeadConnector processes this information as our service provider, under its own security and privacy terms. We use what you send only to respond to you and to quote and schedule your job, exactly as described in Sections 4 and 5. We do not use chat transcripts for advertising.

Please do not send sensitive information through chat. Never enter payment card numbers, bank account details, Social Security numbers, or passwords into the chat window. If we need payment details, we will arrange a secure method with you directly.

Everything else on the site

Apart from the chat window, this website collects no personal information. It has no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account registration, no e-commerce checkout, and no advertising or social media tracking pixels. We do not build profiles of visitors.

Like nearly all websites, the server that delivers these pages may automatically record standard technical request information — such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested — in ordinary server logs maintained by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to identify individual visitors.

2. Website Analytics and Cookies

We may add a website analytics tool in the future to understand how people find and use this site. This section describes what will apply if and when we do. Until then, nothing in this section is in effect.

If we add analytics, the tool may collect:

  • IP address, which may be truncated or anonymized depending on the tool's settings
  • Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen size
  • Pages viewed, time spent on each page, and the order in which pages were visited
  • The referring website or search engine that sent you here
  • General geographic region, such as city or metropolitan area, derived from IP address

We would use this information only in aggregate, to see which pages and services people are interested in and to improve the site. We would not use it to identify you personally, and we would not use it for targeted advertising.

Your choices regarding analytics and cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them entirely or deleting existing ones. Most browsers explain how in their help documentation. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading this site, though the chat window described in Section 1 may not keep your conversation together between pages or visits.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.

Do Not Track

Because this site does not track visitors across other websites, we do not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals. If we add analytics, we will update this section.

3. Information You Give Us Directly

Most of the information we hold comes from you, when you reach out to request an estimate or schedule work. Depending on how you contact us and what the job involves, this may include:

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address
  • Service location: the property address where the work will be done, and any access instructions such as gate codes or parking notes
  • Job details: what you need hauled, cleared, or excavated, and any photos you send us
  • Scheduling information: preferred dates and times
  • Payment information: the method and amount paid. We do not store full payment card numbers; card payments, if any, are processed by a third-party payment processor
  • Correspondence: the content of calls, texts, emails, and Facebook messages between us

We collect this information when you call or text us, email us, message us through the chat window on this site, message us on Facebook, or speak with us in person at the job site.

Photographs of work

We sometimes photograph job sites before and after work, both as a record of the job and to show examples of our work on this website and on social media. We do not publish photographs that identify a customer by name or that show a street address or house number without asking you first. If you would prefer we not photograph your property, or you want a photo of your property removed from our site or social media, tell us and we will honor that.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and prepare an estimate
  • Schedule, plan, and perform the work you have hired us to do
  • Reach you about the job, including changes to timing or scope
  • Invoice you and collect payment
  • Keep records of completed work, including for tax, insurance, and warranty purposes
  • Comply with legal obligations, including disposal and recycling documentation requirements
  • Respond to reviews and, with your permission, share examples of our work

We do not send marketing text messages or email newsletters. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and give you a way to opt out.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the business — such as our phone carrier, email provider, website host, payment processor, accounting or invoicing software, and LeadConnector, which operates the chat window on this site — may process your information on our behalf. They are permitted to use it only to provide services to us.
  • Disposal and recycling facilities. Transfer stations, landfills, and recycling centers may require documentation about a load, which can include the origin address of the material.
  • Subcontractors. If a job requires equipment or a specialty we do not have in-house, we may bring in a subcontractor and share the job details and site address needed to do the work.
  • Legal compliance and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
  • Business transfer. If the business is sold or transferred, customer records may be part of the transferred assets. We would require the acquiring party to honor this policy.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep customer records for as long as needed to complete the job and to meet our legal, tax, insurance, and accounting obligations — generally at least seven years for records tied to a paid invoice, consistent with standard business record retention. Inquiries that never became jobs are kept only as long as they are useful, typically no more than two years. Text and message threads, including chat transcripts held by our chat provider, are kept in the ordinary course on the devices and platforms where they occur.

7. How We Protect Information

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including device passcodes, account passwords, and limiting access to the people who need it to do the work. We are a small, locally owned business, and the information we hold is modest in scope. Even so, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Oregon residents have rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA). The OCPA applies to businesses meeting certain size thresholds, and a business of our size may fall below them. Regardless of whether the statute strictly applies to us, we will honor the following requests from any customer:

  • Access. Ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and to tell you what it is.
  • Correction. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete information about you, subject to records we are required to keep for tax, legal, or insurance reasons.
  • Copy. Ask us for a copy of the information you provided to us.
  • Opt out. Opt out of any sale of personal information or targeted advertising. As noted above, we do not do either.

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before we act — usually by confirming details of the job we did for you. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time. There is no charge for a reasonable request. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact the Oregon Department of Justice.

9. Children's Privacy

This website and our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

This website links to third-party services, including our Google Business Profile and our Facebook page, and it loads the chat window operated by LeadConnector described in Section 1. Those services have their own privacy policies and their own data practices, and this policy does not cover what they do with information for their own purposes. When you click through to Google or Facebook, or when you leave us a review, you are interacting with that company under its terms, not ours. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes — for example, if we add website analytics or a contact form. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
